Left Phoenix early Monday for Palm Desert. Uneventful 5 hour haul. Ensconced in the Shadow Hills Park for a couple of nights. In the afternoon we went to a friends home in the Oasis Country Club and did laundry etc. We picked up our friends Janet and Peter at the airport this morning (Tuesday) then off to a great lunch in downtown Palm Springs and an afternoon and evening getting caught up on each others lives. Tomorrow we put El Gato in storage for a couple of weeks as we'll be staying with the Storton's until Thanksgiving, then with aunt Gay for a couple of days and then, if all goes well, a week in Cabo with the Cooper-Millers. Of course it's all depends on what we learn from the famous Dr. House day after tomorrow. Stay tuned .... I said STAY TUNED?
We missed our friends and were happy to see them both again, even if he can't hear a thing we say. We are also glad to see John wasn't arrested at the races for VOYERISM!
