Day 20/21

When I think about what we're doing it often amazes me. This morning I was negotiating a license agreement with a paint company in South Africa while Jill was proofing a magazine in Singapore. When we got back from a quick trip to Mesquite Nevada via Arizona, I tagged 500 products for a publishers website in Latin America. Oh yes I almost forgot ... a few minutes ago I sent the first chapter of my book to an agent in New York at his request! Ya gotta love this technology stuff.

Yesterday we went to a Saturday Market up at Tuachan (where we saw Thriller). It wasn't anything special but I'm determined to get out daily and try to get my balance back. The dizziness is gone but I still stagger like a drunk. It's sort of funny actually. In the afternoon we re-built the seats in the dinette where I cracked them with my big butt. I don't know what anthropometric chart they use to build these things but they are a bit fragile for someone my size ... especially someone who staggers.

We went 30 miles south of St. George to Mesquite Nevada this morning for breakfast. The road goes through some of the most dramatic desert scenery I've ever seen. It follows the Virgin River through canyons that look like those one would find in the Hindu-Kush. Mesquite has a couple of nice casinos where we lost $50 after breakfast. It has 6 great looking golf courses and several nice snow-bird developments. Not a bad place for a winter retreat.

We took a back road to St. George and I drove a bit. My lack of balance only seems to bother me when standing so we should have no trouble driving down to Phoenix next week for the NASCAR race on Sunday.
